"Been some time since we stayed at this hotel. Still a good option as a central location. However the hotel is a little tired. Rooms however clean and comfortable and a great shower. Breakfast was ok. Basic. Orange juice worst I have ever had, poor squash at best."

"Staff were very friendly and welcoming on arrival and later in the evening in the bar. Our room was on the first floor and was very clean and comfortable. The only negative was the very strong smell of drugs being smoked on the first floor near our room. I appreciate that this is difficult for the hotel to police, but it did spoil the stay."

"Lovely hotel. Fairly inexpensive. Very convenient - short distance from major roads but didn't feel like it. Clean but basic. Looked like it had seen better days - clear signs of people trying hard to keep the place clean and fresh but it had a TV from the 80s and few comforts in the room. The only thing that would put me off staying again is the mattress which was the worst I've ever slept on. My partner weighs around 90kg - he lay down and sank into the bed, causing a massive dip. "The hotel itself was very good, comfortable and well designed. The only drawback which was very unfortunate was that there is no car park and one is forced to park in the nearby NCP car park. This leads to paying double. This should be clearly stated when booking. If you're planning to stay here, don't bring your car!"

"The room was very small, but functional. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and linens, and quiet. Check in was almost too quick - I had a hard time catching everything she was saying. Super convenient to rail station and many restaurants. Great value for money but if you are a large person who has trouble in small places you might want to try somewhere else."

"The bed is 406 was really creeky. Also the mattress was very soft. It didn't spoil our stay but a little uncomfortable. No eggs at breakfast on Monday or decaf tea. "
