We had to walk up thirty stairs to the top room which was claustrophobic and the bed was very high. The toilet system was very loud. My partner couldn’t get into the shower as she is on the large size and struggled with the stairs which did not have a proper banister. We checked out two days early as she couldn’t cope with the stairs and the room and we are awaiting a refund for those two days.

Check-in took a very long time as staff seemed confused by IT system. Bedroom door deadbolt not working (reported when I stayed in same room several weeks ago). Lot of unexplained noise in corridor outside bedroom at 5:30am. Have stayed several times before and always found it to be excellent. Understand it is now under new management - apparently not a change for the better.

This apartment had great space and really useful cooking facilities. A dishwasher and washing machine in such a small apartment were useful for a longer stay, although we didn't use the later for our 3 night break. It's really convenient for the City centre and even closer to the Millennium Stadium, although I bet prices for major events there are much higher. Cardiff is a great city and certainly cheaper than Lincoln where we live. Strongly recommend a visit.
