"Hotel is a lil out dated and can be better maintained but overall it was Good, The rooms were nice I had a balcony which I enjoyed after a long day . Definitely peaceful still in walking distance to everything yet away from the rowdiness . I’d stay there again and recomend any one looking for a low budget cool spot "

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The quick access to the River Walk is not only convenient, but beautiful as well. I cannot recommend the Hotel Contessa enough."

"I have told everyone back home how wonderful this hotel is. It is beautiful and clean. It smells divine. The Alamo is on one side of the hotel and the shopping mall is on the other side. Riverwalk is just a few minutes walk. Whatever cuisine you are in the mood for is a short walk. The valet parking is very convenient, although it took me a while to figure out how to get to it because the gps takes you to a section that is shut down due to now maintenance work on the Alamo. I love, love, love The Menger Hotel. "
