The baseboards in the room are disgusting and don't appear to have ever been cleaned near the seating area in the room. When we purchased the room we were not told the site was undergoing major renovations. We booked this hotel due to having laundry on-site, and ended up having to spend about 30 dollars in doing laundry outside the hotel plus drive time and wait time. When we first got to the hotel the restaurant had a diverse and amazing menu, the next day the menu got changed and the only offering that didn't include shellfish or fish was a $68 meal. My husband almost went into anaphylactic shock after we thought we had ordered pork-only dumplings, and they contained shellfish. Thankfully, the waitress offered us Bendryl. We don't eat seafood, so your hotel is not welcoming for us. The pool was a mess, the first weeked all the locals came and brought about 50 children that took us two of the pools till almost 11 every night, they were so loud you couldn't hear the Friday night entertainment over them. The hot tub in the back was like a cold pool, then they turned the heat up so hot no one could use it, so the other tub was filled with children and drunk adults. It was not a good experience. On the other hand, the maid was so friendly and nice. Given the outrageous resort fees at this hotel with no return and the lack of food and laundry service, I would book elsewhere.

The staff made my check in for my guest work. I didn’t stay at the hotel, so I couldn’t answer anything other than the staffing question. So, staff was everything as far as I am concerned.

Buffet breakfast is very good. The room was a nice size and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.

An absolutely beautiful resort, with all the amenities and staff attention one can ask for while on vacation. Our villa was amazing! Everything was clean, plenty of towels and robes for the family, washer and dryer if needed, supplies for cooking, and a view that never disappoints!

Check in process needs improved. Room should have been ready at 3 but it wasn't. So after 4 I asked again and they were able to put us in a different room (same type) that was ready. I'm not sure why they didn't do this in the first place. Also, right at prime check in time between 3-4 pm, 2 out of the 3 front desk workers left/went on break leaving Grace alone. This happened on both check in day and check out day which are the only two times I went to the front desk. She kept a smile among the very long line. I felt bad for her. Also there was a lot of garbage and towels left by the pool area unfortunately from messy guests. One day, the workers went home and plates of food were just left at the pool chairs and never picked up. I picked up trash around the pool area hoping it would not blow into the ocean. Overall, the property is very nice and I would stay there again, but definitely pack your patience for the front desk and don't expect your room to be ready on time.
