"Loved staying at this beachside house near Hanalei. Walking distance to beautiful beaches. Friendly neighbors. Peaceful. We wished we could have stayed longer, but our trip was curtailed by Hurricane Lala. Donna, our host, was helpful, communicative and understanding throughout the process. We would love to stay here again. Clean, peaceful, comfy beds. Love the main shower with river rock flooring and ocean sounds through the windows."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For years now our family returns to this magical home, set in our favorite location— the north shore of Kauai. Sitting on the deck, looking at the ocean, and listening to the waves never fails to bring an unmatched sense of peace and serenity. The views from nearly every room in this pristine house are perfection. It is amazingly well stocked with everything you need or might want for cooking, indoor and outdoor games, reading, beach toys and supplies. The property managers, NaPali Properties, are absolutely top notch. They are very quick to respond to any problem, helpful island advice, etc. After decades of vacationing on Kauai, we find them to be the best , by far.The island is perfect, the north shore is perfect, the neighborhood is perfect, the managers are perfect and the home is perfect...what’s not to love?"

"This home is amazing and the photos truly don’t do it justice. The host has thought of everything to make your stay as homey and cozy as possible. We were here during Lala and even without power for a short period it was truly magical. The AC is cold, the jetted tub and outdoor shower were incredible, and best of all was the location which is walking distance to Tunnels, the most beautiful beach on the island! There are plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers too. We can’t wait to come back again! Highly, highly recommend."

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay here. We enjoy hearing the waves crash at all hours. It was easy to book online, easy to check in. Pool was great - warm and we were often the only guests there. Plenty of drawer space for clothes and a nice big bathroom counter. A few notes - there is not a lot of storage space for dry/pantry food - the "pantry" cabinet next to the fridge holds the garbage bin and some other random items, no shelves for food. There is no AC so it is necessary to have ceiling fans going all the time during the hot summer months. There was a floor fan in the closet, but it did not work. We did ask management for a working fan, but never heard anything back and did not receive a working fan during our 5 night stay. The property is listed as occupancy up to 4 people, but there were only 2 beach chairs provided. I did ask management if it was possible to get another chair for our party of 3, again did not hear anything back or receive another chair. The shower tile/grout and bathroom exhaust fan need a deep clean, everything else was very clean. Beds/pillows were pretty comfy. Window screens were intact, we had very few bugs get in. It's a short drive to Hanalei for lots of food options, just know the road between Hanalei and the resort is windy and slow with several one lane bridges. We did this drive at least once a day to get food or go to beaches and towards the end of our stay it was a bit of an annoyance - something to keep in mind if curvy drives bother you."

"We had a an amazing stay at this north shore house on Kauai. Amazing location with beautiful views throughout the house. Loved all the windows looking out to the ocean. House was well stocked with everything we needed- ended up cooking in several nights because we just didn't want to venture out. Upstairs bedrooms were gorgeous. Downstairs bedroom didn't have the ocean view but it was a very spacious separate apartment with nice courtyard & most time was spent upstairs or out at the beach. AC worked great in bedrooms & breezed flowed with screen doors open in main areas. Loved spending the afternoons on the porch. Beach right out back was rocky but it was a short walk to more open sandy beach (& monk seal on our first night). About a 15 minute walk on road down to Tunnels Beach (we thought it was quicker via the road than sand). Plenty of beach chairs and other accessories needed for beach time. Our family of 8 had such a fabulous time at this beach home- we can't wait to book again for our next trip!!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. The location was excellent—close enough to enjoy everything the area has to offer while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The living area was comfortable and inviting, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. One of our favorite features was the beautiful patio, where we enjoyed morning coffee and evening dinners in a lovely outdoor setting. The easy walk to the beach was a huge plus, and we especially loved having a charming coffee shop just a five-minute stroll away. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the conveniences we needed, making meal preparation simple and enjoyable. The laundry room entrance was also very convenient and made it easy to keep up with towels and beach clothes during our stay.Another favorite amenity was the outdoor shower. We found ourselves using it multiple times a day to rinse off after beach walks and outdoor adventures. It was both convenient and enjoyable and really added to the relaxed island experience.Overall, this property offered comfort, convenience, and a fantastic location. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway."
