The property was beautiful, the path behind the resort led you to multiple sites, the beach and a bar and other points of interest. There is no AC but I think that’s to be expected most places that aren’t hotels.

Great location, very quiet place. However, they don’t have laundry inside condo, you will have to use the shared machines with extra cost. Free WiFi and heated pool are great.

Our condo was very clean and spacious. It worked beautifully for just the two of us but could definitely accommodate a small family in just one condo. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Ocean view was astonishingly beautiful!

Castle Kaha Lani was the perfect place for us. We had ages ranging from 14 to 85 years old. I was worried about the steps up to the 2nd floor but my 85 year old mother did great using her cane. I saw in the reviews before we stayed that some of the units needed updating, so we kind of expected ours might be one of those. And it was, but it was still super great, comfy beds, ocean view from living room and balcony, trade winds kept the unit cool, though the fans in the bedrooms came in very handy. Castle Lani was amazing for us!! Would definitely recommend!

Great facility, grounds were immaculate, pool clean and well maintained. Room was spotless and very well stocked with all the necessary dining essentials. Views from the room were phenomenal, was a pleasant stay and we look forward to our next stay here

We didnt have breakfast there cause we cook our own but love this resport so much bevause of its quietness on the beach. Not over crowded at all. Will love to come back again.

The staff was excellent and came through in our extremely late check-in. Condo was fully stocked with cooking supplies, patio furniture, toilet paper, paper towel but no beach chairs, no beach mats, very limited dishwashing soap, one dishwasher pod, nothing to clean all the glass top or granite. Otherwise , a beautiful resort and lovely beach, walking trails. Would most definitely stay here again. Ma halo.

Beautiful grounds and shore even if not swimmable. Next door is a fabulous public park with playground and swimming area. Having no AC -- just open windows and ceiling fans -- left us feeling the muggy humidity. They have no lobby, feels like you are checking in at a very old Motel 6. Chickens everywhere, pestering us on the patio, roosters crowing -- that was a big drawback.

Kaha Lani is a wonderful place to stay. Quiet condos within walking distance to Lydgate. The grounds are clean and we love that there is laundry facilities on the property.

These properties don’t have AC but you don’t need it with the ocean breeze. There is an onsite laundry room, although it was out of order for the first half of our trip. They fixed it quickly. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. You can exchange towels at the front lobby anytime during your stay.

The photos in the listing were inaccurate, showing view from a second floor unit. This is why I booked this ocean view property. However we were given a first floor unit and told we couldn’t rely on the photos. Very clean. Comfortable bed and good water pressure in shower. Shower was warm but couldn’t get a hot shower.

Property was nice and ocean front. Quiet and isolated from the rest of the hotels which is nice to avoid crowds. Everything is nearby, short 5-10 minute driving distance (groceries, restaurants, shopping). The Only downside and it was completely MY FAULT for not reading the property fee polices. Besides the normal nightly resort fees as all hotels have, they have a MANDATORY CLEANING FEE that is paid at check-in. So Besides spending the money for booking the room, you also pay a large lump sum at check-in. It was not a pleasant surprise, but it was MY FAULT for not catching it when booking the hotel and checking the fees. The hotel has their prices posted if you look up the cleaning fees for each room size. Although I had a good time staying at this location, I unfortunately wont be staying here again because of that pricey cleaning fee. The fee was more expensive than my airfare and nearly the same price as booking the room for 2 nights. For the total price i paid, Airlines + hotel + Mandatory Cleaning Fee, it didn't feel worth what i was paying. But if you dont mind that fee, its a good ocean front hotel with a nice view.
