This upscale beach home with AC in the bedrooms is part of a duplex. A short stroll from the beach, granite counters, travertine floors, Hawaiian style furnishings, top line appliances, stainless steel BBQ & outdoor shower in your private back yard await you. Cool and relaxing, convenient to all the North Shore beaches. Standard occupancy is 4.

A two-minute stroll will bring you to Waioli Beach Park in the center of Hanalei Bay. A few blocks away lies the Hanalei town center with eclectic shops, beach toy rentals (masks, boards, kayaks and bicycles), market, fish store and excellent restaurants.

It's all in the neighborhood, and Hanalei is a great neighborhood with a fabulous bay, beautiful mountains, waterfalls and rainbows. These are the best rates in Hanalei for this quality and proximity to the bay.

With all the Hanalei has to offer, well maintained calming space so close to the bay & Hanalei town, this is a fabulous value for a larger group & multi-generational families.

There are 2 bedrooms, one king, 2 twins, and loft with full size bed for younger folks & 2 full baths. A hot and cold outside shower for after the beach is a wonderful plus. Listed rate is for the standard occupancy of 4, but home can accommodate up to 5. Extra guest fee for the 5th person is $20/night + tax per person. This fee is collected after booking. There is a limit of only 5 guests total.

Please be aware that when you book this house or any accommodations by the ocean in Hawaii, not on a bluff, you are booking in a tsunami evacuation zone. Evacuation instructions will be in the house and notice of the tsunami evacuation zone will be part of your contract. Also please know that we cannot accommodate charging of electric vehicles at this property.

The house was a great home for us while on our trip to Kauai! It was clean and well supplied, a block from the beach, and a 15 minute walk from the shops and restaurants downtown Hanalei! The property owner was quick to help us when one of the AC units wasn’t working when we first arrived. The outdoor shower was great for all the post beach and activity rinses!

The Wai’oli was steps to the beach and a quick walk (or even quicker drive) into central Hanalei. Everything was as advertised and the views from the kitchen window / front of the house were spectacular.

We had a wonderful time in Hanalei! The home is just around the corner from the beach (<5min walk) and was a wonderful retreat to eat, sleep, and relax when not at the beach. We would absolutely stay here again during our next trip to this magical place!

Very nice getaway

The property is in a great location, within walking distance of the "downtown" Hanalei as well as the beach. The unit was clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Hanalei.

Just as others have written, this is a comfortable home with a very well stocked kitchen that is super convenient (1.5 blocks) to the beach. The proximity let us maximize beach time because we could quickly walk over when the rain stopped.

Incredible location!

We had a terrific stay! The location is just amazing--a two minute walk from the beach, right near a wonderful break called Middles, where we loved surfing every day. The hosts were helpful and the yard/outdoor space was even better than it looked in the pictures. The interior wasn't as bright as I expected, based on the pictures, but it was nice and spacious. We hope to stay again!

This 2-bedroom was perfect for 4 adults. The rooms were great and both had AC units, which were much appreciated. The kitchen, dining room and living room were comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and appliances. The location was great, just a short walk from Pine Trees parking lot and beach. We were very happy here and would definitely come back.

Terrific home in a beautiful location

We were very pleased with our rental. The house was as advertised - actually a bit nicer! Clean, spacious with a cute yard and easy walk to a spectacular beach. Well located for exploring Kauai. As stated, the A/C is only for the bedrooms, but that was completely adequate. The kitchen was very well appointed and we enjoyed cooking during our stay.

Great spot by the beach

This is a great spot in Hanalei. Walking distance to the beach, we went everyday. Beautiful view of the mountains and waterfalls out the kitchen window. Kitchen was well equipped, we cooked in every night. Outdoor shower was a huge bonus after beach time, and the outdoor grill was great. We will be back for sure.

Clean, great back yard, kitchen has everything you need. Great to AC in the downstairs bedrooms as the breeze just did not go through the living room and kitchen. Fans helped. Parking is easy and very close to town.

The management was attentive and responsive. The location to the beach was great. The house needs work. The stove is really hot so most of our food burned. The front sliding glass door doesnt lock and barely closes. There are red bugs allThroughout the kitchen and living area. They attack everything. The kids water bottle was covered with them in the morning. We wouldn’t stay there again unfortunately

Great mid winter break getaway

Our family of four had a great time spending mid winter break here. The house was clean, the kitchen well equipped and everything just as shown in the listing. It's a quick stroll to the wonderful beach and a longer walk (with kids) to the town center and pier. A good assortment of towels, beach towels and beach gear was available at the house. The AC in the bedrooms were nice to have. Beds were on the soft side and the host didn't provide shampoo or body wash. I hope we'll be able to visit again and I'd recommend this home to a friend.
