Great property in a central location making it very walkable to many of Edinburgh’s key sites. Little over 2 block walk to tram makes getting to/from airport very easy. Only slight negative is the tiny elevator allowing two people with no bags or one person with two bags. But, it does beat climbing stairs! Delicious hot breakfast.

Really nice hotel; very polite, friendly and helpful staff. Room was nice: it had a separate bath and shower. Made full use of the pool (small and oddly shaped, but sufficient for a dip), sauna (which was nice and hot) and gym (small, but top quality technogym equipment and more than enough to get a good workout. Breakfast was also good. Can’t really fault it, other than two single beds pushed together to make a double bed, but they easily slid apart.

All staff were excellent. However the hotel needs to seriously address the problems at breakfast the food was very good but they could not cope the amount of people in the hotel therefore there were long queues at breakfast. The hotel management need to address this problem.
