Very dated rooms. Not enough plugs. No elevator. Sinks used plugs that stuck and were nearly impossible to dislodge. Pool closed early and don’t have good hours to for use. Restaurant was pricey. Food just okay. Would not stay here again.

The hotel and stay itself were extremely pleasant. We have stayed here a number of times and have never been let down, until now. We decided to dine at the restaurant and were met with very poor service. This is not what we expected as we have experienced great service at the other amenities in the hotel previously. With the price of food, the quality of both the service and food itself were not up to scratch.

Overall, this was a great stay. Next time however, I would not stay on the Royal Mile. We learned that this is an extremely busy and very loud street in the heart of the tourist District. Not only is it right across the street from a very large church with loud bells that continue to ring into the night… The bars open up with many people still strolling down the streets at one or two in the morning. It is extremely loud, but it is very central to everything. We had issues with the air. It was only halfway working in our room. Also, the door that slides on a barn door apparatus did not work, but they fixed it quickly. This is an upscale Marriott property with all the other amenities. The restaurant was good. Front Desk staff was helpful. This was right across the street from many Tour options.

An outstanding stay from start to finish. We will definitely be returning.
The breakfast buffet was exceptional, offering a fantastic selection and consistently high quality each morning. The restaurants throughout the resort were equally impressive, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary requirements, including a food allergy within our group, which gave us great peace of mind.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The pool and leisure facilities were excellent, and despite the resort being busy, it never felt overcrowded or hectic.
What really made the stay special was the staff. Every member of the team greeted us with a smile and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. Their friendly and attentive service turned an already excellent resort into a memorable family holiday.

Everything was clean. I loved my room. It’s not the most updated place in the world, but it had its own charm. It’s warm and inviting. The staff was great, and had good suggestions for tours. It’s kind of a pain not having anything nearby. No convenience stores or coffee shops. You have to take a train or Uber. I tried the connected restaurant twice and did not care for it. It’ll do though with nothing else around. Overall, it was a good value and I felt safe and comfortable
