The staff here is amazing. They really want you to take care of you. You are so confortable that you feel like you are at your own home. Fernando and his crew in the kitchen are so nice and they prepare the most amazing Colombian breakfast and capuccino. I felt pampered and had a great time. Rooms are super spacious, clean and the place is well kept. Thanks. Keep it up.

Everything was amazing! The property was beautiful. Even better than shown in the pictures. The staff was so sweet & provided amazing hospitality. Food was delicious as well. Perfect for my birthday trip!

Spectacular stay. Waldo and the entire staff made my husband and I feel so welcomed. The private grounds were a perfect location to unwind and still walking distance to all activities/restaurants/shopping/night life. We will surely return for another peaceful and regenerative vacation.

This place is huge, food was great, staff was all friendly, drinks were done well. If you’re looking for a place on Barú this one is an easy choice. I was glad we picked it.

The hotel’s location was perfect for a short stay like hours. Our suite was beyond gorgeous and the staff was exceptional. Breakfast was the only meal we had but it was also excellent so I recommend this hotel to any exigent traveler looking for perfect service and a very comfortable stay

The hotel is ok just a little dated…it’s celebrated 80 years and it’s showing its age in some areas…a good example would be the furnishings in the rooms…practical but old We found the some of staff not overly helpful…a tip is added to your check so they certainly do go out of their way to do anything extra…an example was we sat along the main pool for a drink and a server came to the loungers next to us brought something, looked directly at us and never came back..we waited for about 15 minutes then left Not all of the staff don’t go out of their way…the bartender at the adult pool made us some of the tastiest mojitos ever and did it with a huge smile…we tipped accordingly on top of the check…the room staff did a great job and our room was always neat and tidy…the staff at the front desk were great and helped wherever they could We received a free dinner on our first day from the hotel and enjoyed a tasty dinner at the buffet…if I have a complaint about the buffet, there was no egg station for a couple fried eggs if that’s what you wanted for breakfast but there were lots of things to have for breakfast One thing I would suggest to the hotel would be to provide face cloths in the rooms…there are none provided…all in all we had a nice stay…good location close to many things to do and great restaurants

We recently stayed at Hotel Charleston Santa Teresa and had a mix of positive and disappointing experiences. On a positive note, the hotel itself is beautiful and well located, and we truly appreciated the staff addressing our initial room concern by upgrading us to a much larger room with a king bed. The spa experience was also excellent — one of the highlights of our stay. However, our experience after the spa at the rooftop pool fell short of expectations, especially for a hotel at this price point. We were unable to find seating while a cabana remained unoccupied for nearly an hour, held only by a personal item, and staff were unable to assist or offer a solution. We ended up sitting in a noisy indoor area, which took away from what we had hoped would be a relaxing final afternoon. Additionally, the service at the rooftop felt rushed, and we experienced some pressure to change our food order after already deciding, which was surprising and not in line with the level of hospitality we expected. While we appreciated the gestures made early on during our stay, the rooftop experience was disappointing and left us wishing for a more seamless and attentive level of service overall. Overall, a beautiful property with strong potential, but inconsistent service in key moments.

The breakfast was light and airy taste fresh. The drink were pleasant. Overall we had a good stay. The amenities seem ok somethings need updating.
