(1,163 reviews) If you are looking for an out of the way away from the resort side of the island this is the place. You definitely need a rental car to get anywhere. Rent it at the airport as they say there is a rental there but it’s faster/easier to just do it at the airport. People are really friendly and rooms are clean but outdated. Grounds are immaculate. breakfast is pretty limited and doesn’t start very early. Many of the excursions start early but you can get coffee. The biggest complaint would be the chickens. They are everywhere and when trying to eat breakfast they are not afraid to jump right up on the tables. Air conditions are the old fashioned window type and are very noisy but work very well.
