Affordable in central Zuoz
Hotel was clean and nice, classically decorated. Breakfast was pretty decent too, and room price was low for Switzerland. Location is very central, next to the finish of La Diagonela ski race. One caveat though: the church is close by, and the bell tolls quite loud at least to 11pm when I dozed off. Be sure to bring ear plugs if your room is on that side.

Cozy and fantastic hotel. Staff and owners A+
Fantastic family run hotel. Super cozy. Owner and staff are fantastic! There's even a bakery and desert restaurant inside that is fabulous. Be aware, it is an older hotel, so it won't have the modern comforts of other types of hotels though.

Taking a break from cycle touring. My husband was very disappointed with the provided breakfast buffet and I was disappointed with the very warm room - specially when we were provided with proper feather duvets! We were impressed with our huge room though. Just not sure it was worth the cost.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Leider konnten wir saisonbedingt unser Nachtessen nicht im Hotel einnehmen, da dieses sein Restaurant bereits um 18:00 geschlossen hatte.

In jeglicher Beziehung ein einzigartiges Hotel: ruhige Lage im historischen Dorfkern: freundlicher Service; grosse Zimmer; gutes Essen.

Stilvolles Hotel
Das Hotel ist leicht zu erreichen. Es liegt mitten zwischen alten Häusern im Ortszentrum und hat insbesondere abends ein besonderes Ambiente. Das Restaurant des Hauses ist stil- und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam, freundlich und liebenswürdig, Wünsche werden umgegend erfüllt. Überzeugt hat das sehr reichhaltiges hochwertige Frühstücksbuffet Insgesamt empfehle ich das Hotel gern weiter.

War zum wiederholten Mal hier. In unterschiedlichen Zimmern. War wieder sehr gut und freundliche Inhaber. Parkplatzsituation war aber wieder knapp bemessen. Wird aufgrund des Standortes aber nicht anders möglich sein. Frühstück ausreichend. Gerne wieder.

Wundervolle Herbstwandertage
Wir erlebten wunderbare Herbstwandertage im Engadin. Das Hotel ist sehr schön, das Zimmer komfortabel und das Frühstücksbuffet gut. Die Parkplatzsituation ist suboptimal und der Herr im Service war zum Teil überfordert. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend ist aber die Chefin, die sich in Bezug auf Zusatzwünsche auch sehr flexibel zeigte.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel im Engadiner Stil
Als ich meine Velotour von Maloja Richtung Trient plante, habe ich zuerst zum Übernachten jenes Dorf ausgesucht, das mir am besten gefiel. So wählte ich Zuoz aus und fand auch noch ein von aussen interessant aussehendes Hotel, das Hotel Klarer hiess. Meine Erwartung wurde nicht getrübt, als ich am Nachmittag ankam. Eine gediegene Entourage mit einer Bäckerei daneben und einer sonnigen Terrasse liessen meine Müdigkeit vergessen. Empfangen wurde ich von zwei freundlichen jungen Frauen, die mir ausführlich Auskunft gaben. Eine davon war die Chefin selbst, Frau Klarer, Enkelin der langjährigen Hotel- und Familiendynastie Klarer. Überrascht war ich vom günstigen Preis, der auch ein feines Früstück beinhaltete.

Ausreichend für Gäste ohne große Ansprüche
Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt zwecks Durchreise ausreichend. Urlaub würde ich dort nicht verbringen, weil für diesen Preis nur Waschgelegenheit im Zimmer. Gemeinschaftsbad und Toilette auf dem Flur.
