Everything at La Couronne hotel was amazing. The reviews and description of this property was spot on. We had a balcony with a view of the Matterhorn and the beautiful town of Zermatt. The staff was friendly, the morning breakfast was simple and light, the Old Zermatt restaurant at the hotel was convenient. We had lunch & dinner there, the food was wonderful and staff was delightful. We had a massage at this amazing spa, both my husband and I agree it was the best massage ever! The spa facilities were amazing! Everything from a cold room, steam, sauna, indoor and outdoor pool, and relaxation area. We were here for three days, but could have stayed a week! I highly recommend this property!

Great location. 5 minute walk from train station. Watch out for the crabby breakfast lady who brings the coffee.

Perfect hotel!
The hotel was perfect! The rooms were spacious and the views of the Matterhorn were amazing! Everyone was wonderful but Sandra at the front desk was a standout! She helped us plan our days and gave us great information about the hotel and village. She even remembered it was my birthday and surprised me with a sweet little treat! We’ll definitely be back and won’t stay anywhere but here!

Wonderful property. Good amenities. Only drawback is the hotel claims to have free shuttle from train station. They don’t past 8pm We arrived and had to walk uphill ( or take taxi ) under the rain Also we could have enjoyed a room higher up since nobody was in it. We would have had a better view.

The location was walking distance to everything and close to great restaurants and coffee places. Right in the river and with a grand view of Matterhorn. This exceptionally clean hotel is the best choice we could have stayed in!

Much better than my expectation. They provided a nice backpack for hiking for free and free taxi to train station after checking out. I will consider this hotel again when I'm back to Zermatt.

Beautiful location. 8 min walk to Train station. Hotel has a nice decor however breakfast option was not so great compare to our other hotel stays in Switzerland. We stayed 2 nights in a non ski season and it was more than enough.

Fantastic location with stunning view of the Matterhorn. We had a room with the view and it is worth the extra. Great location for everywhere in the town and all transport. Hotel very good standard.

Great location, amazing view of Matterhorn. Very friendly and helpful staff. The town is very expensive, the restaurant next the hotel and further down the street have good food.

The hotel is a small walk from the train station. The location was beautiful and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were on the smaller side but clean and modern bathrooms. Would stay again

Great location, Off the main drag but close to everything. The room was large and clean, but the thermostat did not appear to work and opening the window did not cool the room so it was hot and hard to sleep.

Great hotel in the middle of Zermatt. Next to river which was real nice to listen to at night with the windows open. Great view of the Matterhorn. Very clean. Room with nice porch with a couple chairs. Great breakfast in neat room with views.

Loved LaCouronne!
The staff was warm, engaging and very helpful. The location was excellent. The offered a free pickup and return to/from the train station, which was very helpful. We had a junior suite with a balcony facing The Matterhorn and the view was spectacular. The room was very clean and comfortable, and offered a device that drew cool, fresh outdoor air into the room. Would highly recommend the hotel.

Our 7th visit to Zermatt and our 5th stay at this Hotel should say it all. Oh and provisionally booked again for Christmas 2018 !!!!! When staying in Zermatt don't underestimate the importance of location, this Hotel has it .
