We loved sitting gazing out at the squirrels playing in the trees and were lucky enough to have them come up to the door and peer in. "As a family of four, we stayed for three nights and had a great experience. The room was clean with daily room service. The restaurant was excellent—the included breakfast was great, and dinner was lovely, especially the pizza. We also appreciated that the service charge was optional. Overall, it is a fantastic base for a stay in Penzance, Cornwall."

"3/5 – Decent stay, but tight on space Overall an okay experience. The room was quite small for two people on a week-long trip — storage was limited and we genuinely struggled to find space to open and access our suitcases properly. It's also not a modern hotel, though that's probably fairly typical for the area. There's also no lift, which made carrying heavy luggage up to the room a real struggle. The hotel is right next to a main road, so it was noisy even with the windows closed. On the plus side, the staff were helpful throughout, and the chef was friendly and made a nice impression. The location is a real strength — easy access to both bus and train, so getting around Penzance and beyond was convenient. Given the price we paid, though, it didn't quite feel like it matched the value — for the cost, I'd have expected a bit more in terms of room size and amenities."
