"We were apprehensive after reading previous reviews, however we were positively surprised. Our family room was large and spacious and the beds very comfortable. The deco is dated but everything was clean, the staff lovely and what a view!! If you want luxury, 5\* accommodation, this isn't for you. If you want a comfortable, friendly hotel to stay in while having easy access to the town centre of St Ives, this is it."

"I loved the cottage, it was clean, warm, cosy and comfortable. It had everything that we needed. The area is stunning, it's a spectacular bit of coast path. We loved the tin mine and managed to happily spend the whole day there when it was raining. We went to the village pub one evening and local musicians were jamming. The hosts were great at communicating with us and the lady who lives over the road and looks after the place was very helpful and friendly. I'd happily go and stay there again, I loved the place."
