Wonderful Converted Barn & Peaceful Location
We spent six fantastic days staying at the Cart Lodge Barn. The barn is in a remote but accessible location, short walk to the Coastal Path, Porthcurno Beach with a great pub at Logan Rock near by. About a 20 minute drive into Penzance. The Barn had everything we needed in terms of kitchen, comfortable beds, great log burner stove and washing machine/dryer. The area is very quiet and if the night is clear, plenty of stars out. Wish we had been able to stay longer. Highly recommended to anyone looking to get some time away in a peaceful location that's off the beaten path, but with lots of natural attractions within walking or driving distance. No issues with hot water, heating etc. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Cozy and tastefully furnished barn, beautifully located
Well-equipped and tastefully decorated barn and plenty of space for the kids to play outside. And they just loved picking fresh blackberries on our way from the barn to the beach. The beaches were amongst the most beautiful beaches that I’ve ever seen, and right at our doorstep! The owners also put together a very useful welcome pack with lots of things to see and do. We had a great time exploring the greater Porthcurno area (e.g. Mousehole, St. Just and St. Yves) and the advice to have lunch at the Tolcarne Inn in Newlyn (close to Penzance). Which was truly delicious.
