It was wonderful. It’s a smaller hotel compared to other we have been to before. Traveled with 12 and 6 yo. They have water slides, kids care, kids activities and entertainment. We didn’t try any of the morning activities such as yoga but they do have a daily schedule😁 Food was amazing, really great options, alcoholic drinks were great . We didn’t try all the restaurants but buffet had plenty of choices for us. Gym is big enough for your daily workouts. I want to stay again next time!" No there is no beach so that was known going in. Not an issue for us. Plenty of room around the pool and never a long line at the bars. Staff super nice and helpful. Pool was chilly but it was 60 at night over new years so expected. Still got in for volleyball and foam party. Steak place was not great but Italian place was good. Buffet was good. Outdoor lunch buffets were good. Daytime taco bar was good. Pretty quiet at night unless you go to the Landshark bar. Cool bands there and singing. Then dance music. Fun Mexican dancing show one night. Overall just a good time, clean, new resort. Felt it was a good deal for the stay." I informed the resort that we old be there 12pm and if possible needed an early check in. That was not done. We were given a suite at 3:30pm. With a partial ocean view.disappointed honestly but the overall stay was made so comfortable by the staff and resort was so new and clean and beach was so clean an amazing that we really forgot about the check in hiccups. Alex our server in privilege restaurant was a 5 star guy who made every effort to please us. The best restaurant was the privilege one with excellent views and food breakfast lunch and dinner. A big disappointment was the French restaurant. The steakhouse and Japanese restaurant were really good too. It was our first time in Cancun and I am so glad that I chose Ocean Allure and even more glad that I chose their privilege room.
