"The hotel was very spacious, lots of cosy, inviting areas to sit and relax as well as the bar. We stayed at the Belfry while visiting family so didn't use the facilities or restaurant but the room was beautiful - tastefully decorated and had everything we needed (including a welcome fan on a hot evening). The bed was comfortable and the hotel quiet and restful even though there was obviously a wedding party staying. The value for money was great. Would definitely recommend."

"The Gonville is well located for Cambridge. Staff are very friendly. Reuben on the front desk in particular. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a very good selection with many chef cooked options available. Furniture in the communal areas is tired, worn, and needs replacing but in general this is a very comfortable hotel."
