"Very underrated central location at the heart of Xujiahui. Walkable to great shopping, dining, cultural sites, parks, and university. Very well maintained with a top breakfast facility and gym. The room is first-class, too"

This must be one of the best hotels in the city. The location is perfect on the river, and the rooms are incredibly well-appointed.
We enjoyed the breakfast immensely and could spend an hour at breakfast with the choice.

This was the last stop on a China trip that included two Shangri-La's, 2 Hyatts and a Renaissance. The Four Seasons was a paradigm shift. From v.g.- excellent to magnificent. Wow, this hotel is exceptional. We decided it would have been on our bucket list if we'd only known. The key is the business lounge, where the service is terrific, and the food even better. Oh, and the pool. I wouldn't usually mention a pool, but this has an amazing view of the mad lights of Pudong. Great in the daytime but...

This hotel has not been open very long - hence the reason why there are no reviews so far. It is a very large hotel offering everything a modern hotel should. The decor is very striking and modern, the facilities all state of the art. But, as you might expect there are some teething problems.
The staff are all eager to please having been well trained no doubt but the standard of spoken English is not that good as yet.
The rooms I had was enormous with a bathroom which could be seen or hidden...

We had a lovely stay. The staff at this hotel are really friendly, professional and caring. It was busy due to the lunar New Year holiday, and yet everything worked well and nothing was too much trouble. We will stay there next time we are in Shanghai. Thank you to all at the Shanghai Intercontinental NECC.
