What can i say...its the Shangri La...world famous hotel. The hotel from checking in to the staff was first class. We stayed a few days for a double celebration....daughters birthday and our wedding anniversary. Told them in advance and they decorated our room for our daughter with balloons and a cake, and for anniversary they gave us towel swans. Lovely touch. This was the last stop on a China trip that included two Shangri-La's, 2 Hyatts and a Renaissance. The Four Seasons was a paradigm shift. From v.g.- excellent to magnificent. Wow, this hotel is exceptional. We decided it would have been on our bucket list if we'd only known. The key is the business lounge, where the service is terrific, and the food even better. Oh, and the pool. I wouldn't usually mention a pool, but this has an amazing view of the mad lights of Pudong. Great in the daytime but...
