The restaurant had a great view and food was very delicious. A nice gym facing the bund. The room is clean; although a bit old. Was stuck inside the bathroom due to faulty door mechanism but the team reacted swiftly and professionally, and excellent service recovery from the team. He pretty much made it his mission to try not let us in bar, even though we were staying guests with friends and also a dinner reservation. No paid a high price for the room. I felt like I was in a cheap Chinese motel. They had trays of toothbrushes at reception as there were ZERO amenities in the room. The bed was hard as a rock! The restaurant all Chinese dishes, staff didn’t speak English -!: gave me wrong directions to a site. CHAR was terrible!
