Good location, near MRT. However, the staff services need to improve. Especially pre-arrangement for Taxi Transfer to Airport. The taxi arrived 20 minutes later, it causes us worrying in chasing for our flight time.
Location of the hotel is quite hard to locate even though the map shows it near Ximen station. At first look, the outlook of the building was quite run down like those Hong Kong hotels. But once you step into the hotel room, it was different. Everything thing is lay nicely in the room, not to forget the 48" LED TV was the best!
"Good Location! Walking Distance towards Ximending!"
Once we arrived at the hotel, the staffs greeted us and assist us in our check in and also informed us the different service assistants they provide. For example, helping their hotel guests to order Taiwan local pastries from their popular shops. After checking in, we head to the 8th floor where our room was located. The room was very clean and I was shocked how pretty the whole room was. We started in the room of 4 (two double bed) and the toilet was very big & a huge bath tube as well.
The hotel even provide computer services for their guests which was located in Level 1 & Basement 1 (a common room for their hotel guests to chill.) They even provides drinks/coffee at their common area & reception area. There are also washer & dryer located at Basement 1. Every morning when we were about to leave the hotel, the reception staff will asked us for our room number and check with us if they are about to clean our room for us.
If you are looking for a hotel located near Ximending, you can consider Cityinn Hotel Plus Ximending Branch. It is about 5 mins walk to Ximending and the subway station is just 2 mins away.
In overall, I totally enjoyed my 4 days of stay in Cityinn Hotel Plus Ximending Branch!!
Not all rooms come with bath tubs as described. The hotel staff told me that I had to indicate during my booking and they will try to reserve room with bath tub for me, else it will be according to allocation.
Sometimes called the Harajuku of Taipei, this fashion and shopping area in the northern part of Wanhua District has a thriving Japanese subculture. Closed to cars, its busy pedestrian avenues bustle with the intensity of Times Square. Ximending's many clubs draw young people from around the city and contain a lively LGBT community. Mengjia Longshan Temple is a 20 minute walk to the south.
