In a good location not too far from the Old road - however initially we found it hard to find. We only traveled with small backpacks which was fine, however you would need a taxi with packs/bags! I'm so glad I experienced Jiufen this way! One thing to note, though, is that it is NOT easy to find this place -- arriving during the daytime is strongly recommended.
