"On the one hand, this place needs a makeover. It's dated and needs some sprucing up. However, the place is super comfortable, the English breakfast is amazing, and the location is awesome. The staff was amazing, they helped us through a rough car rental issue. Great place to stay for one or two nights and get to know York."

"Lovely, spacious studios in a really lovely quiet area of York- not too far to walk into the city. We enjoyed a croissant and coffee next to the river in the morning sun- really pleasant stay. Rooms were comfortable with lovely kitchen facilities- it was so nice to be able to have somewhere to prepare food.
