"Lovely traditional old hotel with lots of character. Staff are amazingly helpful and the breakfast is fabulous. We had dinner which was also very good. Lovely experience overall!"

"Standard of Hotel is high and loved communal Lounge and kitchen but did miss having personal contact as no reception. Had booked a Standard double with a Court yard view to find there was no such view as window had opaque glass also very disappointed to find window sealed so unable to have any fresh air into room so no natural ventilation .A fan is provided but not the same. Would stay again but only if a room with natural ventilation was available. I do believe this should be made clear in the information. With some respiratory issues this is important to us."

"While the room was cheap it wasn’t very clean the shower was filthy the windows was filthy the vinyl the soap dispensers was very dirty, had a hand towel with the edges all frailed at the ends no light as you come out the room onto the landing I was left a soft brown banana that was left for the breakfast two days in a row and a slight brown apple . The breakfast sandwich was a cold defrosted bacon and sausage sandwich with the date it was frozen or defrosted on it I can’t remember. I’ve stayed in several places that cost the same that was very clean with a continental style breakfast. I know it was low budget but never expected that."

"This is an awesome location to base yourself whilst exploring Yorkshire, the cottage was exactly as described and Joanne was friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. Everything you need is in the cottage it is well laid out and can comfortable sleep 6. the directions on how to reach the cottage were spot on and you should follow them. Would we go back again that is a definite yes."

"Great stay. The accommodation was perfect for the 12 of us that stayed. Great space if you are having an evening in, open plan with plenty of room to entertain.Check in and out was superb!"

"We had a lovely stay at Cosy cottage. We were welcomed with a hamper of goodies and a warm and cosy cottage .Everything was clean and well presented and as described . The local market town has some lovely little amenities, walks and history to explore.Would recommend highly and looking forward to another stay in the near future"
