"Rooms are not well soundproofed. Location is excellent. Breakfast was great but finishes too early at 09.30. Staff friendly. Once the entire hotel is refurbished it could be amazing!"

"I stayed at Applewood for only 2 nights, but I couldn't have picked a better spot. Easy walking distance to the centre of town, 15 minutes to the Pavilion, the Wheel and the Pier. Local bus access to Boscombe, and Christchurch. The room, though small was perfect for a short stay unlike other short stay where I could hardly get in the shower, Applewood is well designed to make a small space feel bigger. I wasn't driving but there seemed to be ample guest parking. I didn't eat at the Hotel but the restaurant and bar looked very nice and welcoming. The only difficulty was, I arrived early in the day and couldn't get in the hotel, I rang the buzzer but there was no answer, so I waited. Another couple arrived who also rang the bell, after a short wait someone did come to the door and we were allowed to leave our bags, a small inconvenience for a great stay, Would definitely choose Applewood again. "
