"Booked a “best estuary” view room and it did not disappoint, view was amazing and we had a lovely large balcony. We had fantastic weather for October so we made the most of this beautiful location. "⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolutely wonderful stay – we can’t wait to return! We had the most wonderful stay at Glebe Farm, staying in The Shippen with our two dogs, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we immediately felt completely at home. The setting is absolutely stunning. It’s beautifully rural and peaceful, with gorgeous views in every direction and the property itself is spectacular. Our dogs absolutely loved being able to roam around the grounds and explore, which made it such a perfect choice for a dog-friendly break. The location is fantastic if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy some real peace and quiet, while still being within easy reach of the surrounding area. There’s something incredibly special about waking up surrounded by countryside and beautiful scenery. The Shippen was lovely, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We genuinely didn’t want to leave! A huge thank you to the wonderful hosts for making us feel so welcome. We will absolutely be back and would highly recommend Glebe Farm to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful and truly dog-friendly getaway. 🐾❤️ Five stars without hesitation! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"We were pleasantly surprised of the size of the property, we had everything we needed for our stay! Torcross is a lovely, quaint village, this was our first visit and not likely to be our last. Just one warning for future visitors, there is no shop, just a pub and cafe, both provided lovely food! Make sure to visit the nearby farm shop and garden centre for a pizza!"

"First of all, the views are incredible. That’s what we booked for and they did not disappoint. But potential bookers should be aware that some of the issues raised in previous reviews still stand… Pros: Views Beds - so comfy. Probably the best of anywhere we’ve stayed Communication - very quick and responsive from holiday company Showers - new and very good. Front balcony and back garden - amazing! Cons: The place was not as clean as we would have expected. Spider webs in many places. Dirt behind the bathroom door. Dog hair on bed. A horrid sticky spill left under a footstool. Ketchup smears in a cupboard. In addition the coffee machine was faulty. The company offered to come and rectify immediately but none of the issues were significant enough to warrant bringing someone out. However, even though small there were multiple issues. The back garden is stated as being enclosed but the gate has very wide gaps under it and our small dog would have been able to get under it so we couldn’t leave him in the garden unattended. Had we known this we wouldn’t have chosen the property as we were only searching for secure gardens. The nearby pub was great, as was the fish and chips from Britannia. The local area is very beautiful. For the price we paid we would have expected the house to be immaculate and it certainly wasn’t."

"A large property in a beautiful location with enough bedroom space for 9 people with smaller family members in the bunk bed. Anybody with physical disabilities will find the many steps down to the beach difficult but perfect for a family with teenagers. Pros - The views are sensational and it is in a quiet, peaceful area. A fantastic garden with lots of space for dining, games and sunbathing (although no sun loungers) and good ability to keep on top of washing in utility room. Very short distance to the local beautiful beaches. A good beach cafe, farm shop and cafe and toilets close by. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking implements, we were glad we bought a huge saucepan to be able to cook for 9. A large fridge freezer was also very welcome. The kids loved the quirky layout of the house. This was a good family holiday with lots of beach fun with doggy in tow. Would highly recommend a trip to the pebble beach in Beesands and a meal at the cricket Inn. No smart TV was actually a good thing here and kept teenagers off devices.Cons - The property wasn’t particularly clean on arrival, dirty mugs under bed, a large amount of cobwebs and floors with lots of sand on. There were not enough instructions for appliances e.g. downstairs shower (has a booster in the kitchen cupboard) and the induction hob had to be googled. There were a few things that were not working quite correctly, the dishwasher doesn’t sit properly within the kitchen unit, the cooker door is unreliable an"
