"Lovely place to stay , bathroom was a little tired and needed some updating but the room overall was very nice and staff very helpful Maybe need something to help cars get out of the car park to see on coming traffic as entrance is a very tight and kind of a blind spot Great location for city centre and would stay here again"

"The inside of the hotel is great, clean and modern. Big rooms and comfy bed, decent breakfast. Don’t be put off by the exterior and surroundings."

"Lovely clean room with plenty of hanging and drawer space. The bed was very comfortable with crisp white sheets and fresh pillows. The bath was deep with fab water pressure, plenty of room in the bathroom too. There was a fan in the room which was useful. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk and water all supplied as well as a dog welcome pack which was a nice touch. A peaceful place to stay. Staff were polite and helpful. There was a Jazz band on one night in the bar who were superb but not audible in my room. Parking was no problem by the Cathedral."

"We loved our stay at Homewood, it was the perfect place for a totally relaxing, luxury mini-break. The location is stunning, the hotel was full of charm and every detail had been thought about. Super-friendly, helpful staff and the spa facilities were great. The dinner was delicious with fresh flavours, generous portions and the breakfast was at the same standard. Highly recommended"

"The hotel is very peaceful and quiet, hotel is spotlessly clean. And the restaurant serves excellent food, The Hotel is around 26 minutes to bath & 40 minutes to Bristol . This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel & we have always been happy with our stay. Would highly recommend this hotel."

"The single room was fine and reasonable value (the doors do shut loudly). The staff were all very friendly, helpful and impressive (excepting one rather sour lady behind the bar!). They were very polite and kind, it makes a big difference to how you feel about a hotel. The food was really good and not expensive, excellent value. The drinks selection was extensive. There's plenty of outside seating. All in all, I definitely recommend the hotel and would happily stay there again."
