"Owners were very kind and put breakfast ready in our own fridge/ kitchen (we were in Dairy Cottage, the smaller of the 2 self-catering units)as we were leaving early the next day. Breakfast was very impressive! They were also very helpful with advice on the area. Be advised to pre-book Sunday lunch (owners will recommend somewhere) as everywhere was full!"

"Charming, friendly hotel with pleasant garden, welcoming staff and comfortable room. Exquisite food; the wine flight is perfectly matched to the tasting menu. Sherborne is a delightful town and the hotel perfectly placed for town, abbey and castles. It's also only a short walk from the station."

"We really enjoyed our stay . Steve was a lovely host and his breakfast was delicious. The kitchen is being replaced and renewed but we had a delicious homemade pizza one night and breakfast was served from the kitchen in the garden bar, beautiful scenery and so peaceful, it couldn’t be improved on."
