Honestly this was the MOST perfect stay for a new forest adventure. i cannot tell you how special this place is you just need to go an experience it for yourself. Special shout out to ALL the staff, they were just as perfect as the room was. thank you thank you thank you. it was a dream.

Had a wonderful stay (4 nights in the Stables). The Inn is set in beautiful countryside, and I loved the quaintness of the building, lots of different areas to sit in to eat or have a drink, and a nice covered seating area outside. We stayed at the Chapter House for two nights (Friday and Saturday) as a base to visit Salisbury and the surrounding area and attend the Darkness into Light Advent Service at the cathedral on Saturday evening. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the town and just a few minutes' walk from the cathedral. The staff were wonderful; friendly and attentive and happy to chat.

We like to be able to dine with our dog & the shower for the dogs was brilliant the towels ; fleece provided in our room We have no dislikes this was our 4th visit we love the woodlands

Great night in the New Forest. Friendly staff and fantastic food. Room on ground floor was really comfortable and super clean. It was a wet windy day in New forest so perfect excuse to sit in the comfy bar and enjoy the atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely spacious comfortable room, very clean and beautifully quiet. Tea and coffee supplies locally sourced where possible as were a lot of items on the menu. Friendly hotel and restaurant in a beautiful location by the river Stour and. nature reserves - ducks, swans, herons ... Served by hourly bus direct from Poole, or use the very frequent services to Kinson and walk 11-15 minutes across the nature reserve

Our stay was very pleasant. Exceptionally friendly staff, particularly Sarah, who always went above and beyond to satisfy our every need Bedroom was a tad small. Food was excellent, with a really good variety to choose from. Breakfast in the Pullman was very different and most enjoyable. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel and decor, recently been refurbished. Excellent value and great food. Breakfast was lovely with a fantastic choice! Would definitely recommend to family or friends and if in te area, will book again.
