"It is what it is- a very basic, small clean room in a very convenient location across from the airport terminal which you can walk to. Check in was quick and easy and there is a restaurant which we didn't use. Toilet is separate from the shower. Shower has a frosted glass door leading into room so be aware of that if you are not well acquainted with your roommates. Hand sink and mirror are actually in the bedroom itself. The roller blind was a bit frayed and tatty with cigarette scorch marks near the window, it's a tight squeeze to get a suitcase around the bed to the other side of the room but if you are looking for a place to just get some shut eye before an early morning flight like we were then it does the job. It's easy to get into Birmingham city centre using the free monorail and then a train (about 30 mins or so) to explore a little or have a meal there."

"All a bit chaotic with a refurb underway giving the feel of a building site at reception and the bar/restaurant areas. Not made aware in advance which wasn’t appreciated. Room was okay albeit we did get assigned to a room which was occupied which was cringy. £15 for overnight car parking which is up 50% from February last year. Not impressed with that."

"There is not anything we didn’t like about this hotel. For an over night stay before a flight,, it doesn’t get much better! Everything was perfect! Will most definitely be staying again!"

"Stayed here before an early flight home to Belfast. Really impressed. Really good value for money, excellent breakfast, and the guy who checked me in was brilliant. The room was ideal for my needs too. The hotel is also just a couple of minutes walk from the terminal. Will definitely stay here again if I have an early flight from BHX."

"Great room with in-room coffee service and tea kettle. I wish I had tried the breakfast because I read wonderful reviews but I was pretty jet-lagged after traveling to England from the States so I ended up sleeping in late for the first two days of my visit and then had to grab an early flight to the airport on my last day! : ) "

"Hotels nice, room was so nice and bed was very compfy but the lady who booked me in didnt know what she was doing, she asked me if i wanted a bath with shower or walk in shower, i asked for a walk in shower instead gave me the bath. The room she out us in was 358 far from the esclators next to a fire exit 2 long corridor where the light did not come on for a few seconds in the second corridor, so walking in the dark for a couple steps which is not great for ladies walking back on there own or if they have had a drink. For what i paid i didnt bother complain or ask to be moved as room itself is nice. "
