We wanted to get away for the night before New Year's Eve so, after some research, booked one night's stay at The White Hart. We were not disappointed. After checking in we were shown to our room (in the adjacent building) and given an explanation of where things were etc. The room had a 4 poster bed, which was extremely comfortable, and an ensuite wet room with shower. Quirky old inn with good food reasonably priced - lovely atmosphere. We arrived late after last meal orders however staff on duty accommodated us by providing soup of the day which was much appreciated as we had not eaten since breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and we have a great nights sleep.

This pub/hotel was way out in the Suffolk countryside and was a very comfortable room. Good views and peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was good also.

Highly recommend this above all others if staying in Long Melford. The two superb rooms are five star. We had a wonderful stay and a great breakfast.

A warm welcome on our arrival and was checked in quickly and escorted to our room. Staff were terrific, dinner plentiful, warm ambience and fairly busy. The room is small but fine for one night and price. The only thing was the headboard in room 2 was flaking off. Such an easy fix but very visible when you first walk in - an impression that makes you think what else is wrong here. Also a couple of cleaning products left in room. I don’t usually leave property reviews, and I tend to avoid places without a host check-in due to past bad experiences. However, I must say the check-in process was the easiest I’ve come across, clear instructions and codes made it seamless. The room was a delight and had everything I needed. I’ll definitely be using Urban again!

The staff could not have done more, the food was amazing, the whole place was spotlessly clean, fridge in the room etc. The shower was the only very minor thing that let it down. We prefer a hand held one to a rose from the top… personal choice. We will certainly revisit when in the area. Restaurant and bars fantastic old England atmosphere. Restaurant food reasonable price and excellent. Shower and toilet a little cramped. Comfortable bed and good coffee, tea biscuits provided. Breakfast good with plenty of choice. Loads of character definitely worth a visit.
