"I’ve stayed here a few times now. It’s always a pleasure. Check in is fast, efficient and easy and they really do only take payment on arrival if opting for that option. So many places don’t making budgeting or bank rolling business trips difficult. Staff are always friendly and helpful, letting me check in early (when possible) at no extra cost. Location is great. Close to train station and shopping centres and there’s a Tesco express near by for essentials. "

What is a historic hotel like in Westside?
A guest who chooses a historic hotel has an opportunity to stay in a place that's been recognised with an official historic designation. These types of hotels in Westside often preserve authentic elements like traditional architecture and period features in guestrooms or communal spaces.
What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
The two are similar. The term "historic hotel" is more common in the U.S., while you'll often hear "heritage hotel" in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to focus on the building and architecture itself. A heritage hotel draws meaning mainly from the cultural value that the place has and how it shaped the community.
Do historic hotels in Westside have modern facilities?
Yes, efforts are made to preserve treasured traditions and historic facades, but interiors include modern conveniences and safety features. Tourists who book a stay should expect the popular amenities you'd find in a hotel such as private rooms with updated bathroom facilities, WiFi and more. Booking a historic hotel in Westside doesn't mean you will stay in a place that's uncomfortable for guests or simply rundown.
