"The property is very new and nice - great room and lobby. We didn't get a chance to patron the lobby restaurant or rooftop bar. The staff was excellent. The property is a very short walk from the Gloucester train station. I recommend this hotel without hestiation."

"No hot water and when we arrived (it had clearly been an issue as we heard other guests talk about it) no one mentioned it. Someone from our party went to ask reception and they were very dismissive. The next day still no hot water, I understand they couldn’t have fixed it there and then but they could if been proactive is telling us and offering to try and fix it."

"Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms very clean and had everything you need. We felt that prices were a little high for some of the food,as it was not value for money. Would definitely recommend staying here. The grounds are beautiful and lovely walks along the canal bank"

"We checked that we could get an accessible room before making the booking. We also stated our requirements on the booking form. The request was on the system but unfortunately not fulfilled. We were told if we didn’t accept the room, we would not be refunded (even though the hotel had admitted fault). We were then taken outside (in the rain), to go through the bar, restaurant and many doors before reaching our room. The rooms are extremely outdated, with no air conditioning and the radiator being on, with no means to turn it off. The tiny gap in the open window did nothing to help the situation. Accessibility for wheelchair users is ridiculous. I can honestly say it is one of the worst, disorganised places we have ever had the misfortune to stay at "

"It was an okay hotel. We paid for continental breakfast and there was barely any food left and the station was messy. Ended up ordering dishes at an extra charge. Not sure it was worth a £300 stay. "
