Great city hotel with underground parking. Hotel staff are lovely, but hard to find sometimes. Had to look for bar staff twice to get served. Another case of big companies not employing enough staff to do the job properly. Otherwise a nice stay.
The hotel suited us, reasonable price, comfortable room with easy reach of York. Would definitely consider staying there again if I want to visit York and the area around again. There was no-one in reception on arrival but someone soon came for us to register. There was no traffic noise from the ...
Room was cold and not that clean in the bathroom area so we didn't have a bath or a shower ......we was only there for the night so was able to have a bath on our return home.
Not knowing any thing about the hotel it was a pleasant surprise when we arrived to discover the individual chalets.Service by the staff was very good and nothing too much trouble.Meals were of a very good standard-especially breakfast with an excellent choiceof starters and cooked.Coffee was good ...
We were in Ilkley for a funeral. At the end of the day wanted to have a light meal and quietly relax. Snack meal was very good but there is nowhere to relax other than the bedroom. There was a Rotary function in the restaurant area so we ate in the small bar with two television screens each featuring ...
Stayed in a single room which was reasonably comfortable and clean. Stff very friendly organised service wash and also allowed me to keep my own food in the main kitchen fridge Good beer in the bar Access after hours via fire escape from private car park
Nice hotel. Bar prices expensive but no more than other hotels. I found pillows uncomfortable but I'm sure if I had mentioned to staff they would have sorted it. Staff very efficient and courteous especially the young man on reception. Would stay again if need accommodation in the area.
Heading off on holiday is always great fun and exciting. The only drawback for many families is that when they do so they're effectively forced to leave their pet behind with friends or in a kennel. This is not an ideal situation, as a pet dog is as much a part of the family as one of the children! The kids may also be especially unhappy about leaving Fido at home. The great news for those finding themselves in this predicament is that West Yorkshire pet-friendly hotels extend a warm welcome to pets as well as humans, and have the facilities needed to make all species of guest welcome. You can take your pet with you now when you travel to West Yorkshire, and it's a county perfectly suited to dogs with its wide open spaces and beautiful landscapes.
When you stay at a pet-friendly hotel in West Yorkshire such as Holiday Inn Express Leeds City Centre Armouries in Leeds or Best Western Rombalds Hotel in Ilkley you're guaranteed excellent services and amenities for your pet as well as for yourself. These and the numerous other West Yorkshire pet-friendly hotels like them will have specialist facilities to make your stay a pleasant one. These will include staff trained to handle pets, and your dog will have a separate exercise area on the premises. There's often a menu of pet food available, as well as a treats counter if he feels like a nibble. A dog-walking service can come in handy too, if you feel like relaxing a bit in the mornings when he wants to get out and about.
The few rules in place at pet-friendly hotels in West Yorkshire are not unreasonable and will include a few things such as keeping your dog on a lead while in the grounds of the hotel. They're a small price to pay for being able to bring him along with you to enjoy your holidays together in this stunning county.
