"I had a wonderful stay at Kimberly House in Whitby. The single room was a beautiful, cosy little space — extremely clean, comfortable, and perfect for a solo traveller. I felt completely safe and well looked after. The owners were so kind and helpful, with excellent communication throughout. Whitby itself was gorgeous as always, and being able to enjoy it while feeling well rested in such a welcoming place made the trip even more special. Highly recommend!"

"The rooms and bar area are quirky and full of character. The view of Whitby and the abbey from the room was spectacular. John the reception / bar staff was brilliant throughout, and was always friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning! "

"We had a very nice stay at The Esklet Guest House. The owner met us on arrival and gave a very clear instruction on the parking arrangements. It is on street parking, the owner gave us a parking disc for the first night and also a permit for the following two days. Very useful to have clear instruction rather than be left to figure it out yourself. The accomodation was a large ground floor room. Very clean and comfortable. There is no breakfast as was made clear on the booking, but there is something wrong if you can't find a decent breakfast in Whitby! All in all we were very pleased with The Esklet and would be happy to stay again next time we visit Whitby. Thank you."

"We stayed in room 17, parrot room. Very large space. TV was obscured by 4 poster bed frame, would be better above mantle. The room is by the front door, and the room above must be wooden floored as we heard a lot of footsteps/lpud thuds on the ceiling. We paid £3 for a parking permit for the W zone, but didnt find a parking space so ended up at the leisure centre - 10 min walk away Bed was comfy, but very soft. Pillows need replacing. But it was clean, comfy, roomy and comms were good re checking in. Would stay again."
