"Really lovely staff. Room had everything we needed for the night although the second bed wasn't made when we checked-in, but they did make it while we were out later that evening. Breakfast was okay for the price but it was the friendly staff that really stood out for us."

"Absolutely beautiful hotel, gorgeous rooms and lovely helpful staff. The grounds are so pretty and peaceful. We ate in the bar and grill and the meal and service were perfect, as was the breakfast the next morning, even my other half said the Eggs Benedict was the best he’d ever had. We stayed here for one night due to its proximity to the North Yorkshire Moors but after such a wonderful stay we are already trying to figure out when we can come and visit again. Genuinely I have nothing bad to say, this is a real gem!"

"Lovely stay - fast check in, great lunch in the restaurant and an even better breakfast was had. We got a b&b deal through Expedia which included a full continental breakfast for starters and then a hot meal. I had eggs Benedict and my husband had the full English. Very nice setting and outlook. Only downside is that the room gets very hot - had to use the fan all night. And then there were some noisy occupants above us who decided to put tv on around 2am!!"

"The only tiny thing was the pictures showed baths but my room only had a shower. Other than that it was a very enjoyable stay. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and the place was immaculate."
