"Comfortable room, friendly staff. Had pleasant meal one night, and enjoyed cooked breakfast. Spent few hours in pub lounge, great atmosphere. Small point, we were in room 9 which was noisy at night due to extractor fan out
side. Other than that we enjoyed our stay."

"A GRAND Victorian hotel. Good location in Buxton. Rooms not heated and very cold. Ugly interior, especially in rooms and lots of it. Habitable but not pleasant."
