"Breakfast was of poor quality, lacked choice of fruit only grate fruit and prunes available and in short supply. While the full English breakfast had a good selection, the bacon and hash browns where poorly cocked."

"Great garden room, lovely friendly staff who couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely comfortable and clean rooms, and superb food in the restaurant. We have stayed here before and it’s a great base for exploring both the broads and the beautiful coastline. We will definitely stay again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"The hotel is in an excellent position, just off a main road, but on a quiet lane. 15 mins walk in to town. Rooms are modern with aircon, tea, coffee etc. What really makes the hotel excellent is the staff, from the cleaners, bar staff, receptionist, they were so genuinely helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay, thank you."

"AC in first room didn’t work so we were moved day 2 for a smaller but nice room. Received a nice refund as well. Breakfast and Lobby lounge is as nice as a hotel I’ve been in. Wonderful common areas. Excellent breakfast. We stayed for 5 nights. Our room overlooked the stadium and was fun to see daily. No games when I was there. American here. No microwave or fridge in room."

St Giles House Hotel

"I stayed on the eve of the Norfolk show when every hotel in Norwich is booked solid. St Giles had a very expensive room left and I was forced to take it as I was in Norwich for work. The hotel is housed in a lovely building with an impossible to find, “on-site” car park (which they charge an extra £10 for!!) The breakfast was exceptional and the room was spacious but pretty basic. Overall the room was way overpriced for what it was. This might have been a price hike due to high demand? It’s one of those places that feels like it’s run for the dividends of the company that owns it rather than for the experience of the guest. If it’s the only place to stay in Norwich I wouldn’t mind going back but if there are lots of equally good hotels for half the price in Norwich - I’d go there instead."
