"Nice stay, staff friendly, clean room, handy for the railway station and football ground, the room I was in was on the top floor whch has a very steep staircase so bear that in mind if you struggle with stairs apart from that I highly recommend this place. Parking is by paying a fee and hotel gives you a parking permit as the streets outside the hotel require a permit. "

"I came to The Two Life Boats for work, as I was teaching a class that evening and then early at an event the following day. Honestly — I couldn’t have had a better stay. My room was gorgeous, the food and wine was outstanding and the staff were so attentive. I couldn’t stay for breakfast as I had to get to an event early, so they packed me a lovely lunch!
