"Really special little apartment in Shibuya. Not a far walk from Shibuya station and Google Maps will bring you to the apartment easily. It is on a slopey part of Shibuya so walking from Shibuya station to the apartment with luggages can be a bit tiring up the slopes. The apartment itself is small but they managed to squeeze in 6 beds and a very spacious toilet/shower/laundry area. We did have to close up our luggages and store it in between the beds at night so that there is space to sit around...

Would recommend for anyone seeking personal Japanese hospitality at its finest and amenities you never knew you needed ... colored pencils, music player, Mt. "The first thing you should know is that this is not a hotel. It's an apartment with two flats, one on the second floor and one on the third floor, above a storefront about half way between the Ueno and Asakusa stations. That said, it's not bad as a rental apartment, and was a good fill-in for us when our Air BnB booking was cancelled on short notice. All of the communication with the owner was via the Expedia site - we never met anyone in person, but got check-in instructions via messages...

"Visited from California with my partner, and we had a great time. The hotel was located right next to the train station (2 minute walk to the Toei line), and had a coffee shop, Lawson store, and restaurant surrounding it (super convenient). The room was smaller and intimate, but very clean and with all of the necessities. Most major Tokyo destinations (Shibuya, Shinjuku, Akihabara, etc) are all about a 30 min train ride from the hotel.
