Large conference hotel right on the beautiful clean beach. The hotel amenities are excellent but the hotel is more geared up to business guests and conventions. The staff, whilst efficient, were usually unsmiling and did not take the trouble to ask how we were etc. On the whole, the hotel had a 'cold' atmosphere. It was practically impossible to attract the attention of the waiters in the garden area, they only seemed to want to serve the pool area.
After visits to Madrid and Barcelona, a beach respite was perfect. Reception staff
particularly helpful. Location near mass transit and the Hop on Hop off Tour bus.
Breakfast is adequate "continental".
Only full size beds, no twins. Minor problem, but be aware. High end updates.
"Wonderful hotel very close to the beach and town."
This is an affordable hotel offering very good value for money, which was well run and gave everything required for a short vacation. The hotel reception was very well managed and all the staff were extremely helpful and kind during our stay. The room was a very good size for two people; however, a family would require greater wardrobe and cupboard space. The bedroom and bathroom were always clean and presentable each day. Our room had a beach side view, which gave a lovely start to each day, especially as the sun rose across the bay. Beneath the hotel and along the beach front, there were many good quality restaurants and bars, which out of season were quiet, but may be noisy during more popular months. The breakfast was adequate with a continental selection of cereals, yoghurt, ham, cheese, bread etc. At the end of our week's stay, we certainly felt relaxed and considered our choice of hotel was very good.
We booked the hotel because it's 2 minutes from the start/finish line of the Valencia half marathon. We came to the city to run and this was the most comfortable option for getting to and from the race. We stayed four nights.
It's most certainly not a 4 star hotel but it is a solid budget option. Staff had varying levels of English but were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is further out from the historic city centre and the old river bed recreational area but public transport is easily accessible and cheap. Bicycles can be hired and the cycle route system of the city is second to none. There are countless tapas bars down Avenida del Puerto if you want to meet the locals. Food in these place is cheap and would compare to a good pub grub.
There is a little church next door so you'll be reminded of the passing of time by the church bells.
Really loved this hotel on the beach. Staff all very friendly and helpfull. They really couldnt do enough for you. Excellent location on the beach. Metro 100m away just one easy change to the airport. Nice bar and restaraunt and reasonable prices. We had a great room with sea view and small balcony (room 109). Loads of restaraunts and bars around and easy accsess to the city by metro. Takes about 10 mins. All in all we loved valencia and this hotel. If in valencia again would definatly stay here.

Pocket Guide: Valencia Valencia City Beaches Hotels
Making the most of its location in the center of the Spanish Mediterranean coastline, Valencia is an ideal city break for those wanting to spend time basking under the sun. Playa de Malvarossa is the most lively city beach, while Playa las Arenas offers a choice of restaurants along the promenade. Visitors can also venture to Playa de Patacona, a less crowded area with a wider strip of fine sand.
