"We were very Happy with our stay at this unique Boutique Hotel. The room was clean and had everything we needed (Shower, AC, Mini-Fridge). The location is perfect, very close to the Turia park and with lots of good connections to Bus and Subway. Nearby also a lot of cafes, restaurants and shopping (Supermarket, ALDI). "The university was a nice place to stay. Very roomy and clean. It is halfway between downtown and the waterfront. We were there is the summer and the residence was also occupied by student camps. It is also close to bus transportation so it was very easy to get around. The local food choices were a little limited but what we did find was inexpensive and good. If we were to return, we would stay closer to the downtown core area. Overall a pleasant stay. "

"Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Barcelo. Overall impression was that the hotel is very clean, neat and tidy. Breakfast is amazing with a large variety menu to choose from certainly the highlight of our stay. Roof top bar in my opinion was expensive compared to others we attended, staff a little abrupt, we couldn’t sit where we wanted to as a couple we had to sit a 2 person tables although the one we wanted to sit at stayed empty for the duration of our stay. Location is good if you wish to walk off all those breakfast calories, close to the stunning Arts, Science and Oceanographic buildings. 30 minute walk to the port area of the city and similar distance from the city centre. Not alit of nightlife around the hotel, taxi rank is situated right outside the hotel’s main entrance. "

"My wife’s whole personal bag with jewelry, cash, wallets with credit cards, personal belongings were stolen at the small reception area of the hotel in front of the hotel manager Maria at the broad day light. It was a setup since I notified the hotel by WhatsApp our early check in at 1 pm and the thieves were waiting inside the restaurant attached to the small reception area where it was recorded while scene in the hotel camera and the manager Maria acted like a bystander without any appropriate assistance or remorse with her body language and expressions. This is the worst check in we have ever encountered. "

"We were mislead. The first photo on your website was the view of the roof garden, which was a huge draw- especially with the backdrop of the beach. However when we arrived we read the note that the roof garden was private. "No access"! The two flats were interchangeable on your web page. The photos were mixed up and we had no knowledge which flat was ours until we arrived. Also they are both described as suitable for 8 people. We are a family of 8\. Only 6 beds were made up, and no spare bedding for the sofa beds. The kitchen was poorly equipped, with only 7 cups in the cupboard and no tea towels or oven gloves. The lack of sockets in the kitchen area made it difficult to use the appliances. I suggest a large cafetière (needing no plug) would be more suitable than the small electric coffee maker which had small capacity. Also the wall cupboard is far too high making it impossible to reach to the second shelf (unless you were 6 feet tall) However, we loved the position of the flat - it was very suitable for access to the beach, and also to watch the marathon!"
