"A great choice for a short stay. Great staff. Hotel looking like it needs a bit of a refurb but all kept clean and great service. Nice gardens to sit out in for breakfast or lunch. "

"The overall stay was excellent value, I was well looked after. The room was spotless, clean and comfortable. The evening meal was the highlight, spot on and super tasty. One of the best stays I have ever had in the UK other than those over £300 per night (not often) and this was a third of that price. "

"Spa access was not included. The rooms and hotel were very well worn, poorly kept. Lots of cleanliness issues, if you stand near reception you can hear the constant complaints including someone finding dirty underwear in their room! "
