"We stayed here as a base for the Game Fair and it was a great location for that. We didn’t really explore the area much but we did get pizza from The Hertford which was good. There wasn’t any garden chairs and is it was lovely weather this was a bit amid a shame as the domino was in the courtyard a fair bit. The cottage was pretty, tidy, clean and cosy. No welcome package was a bit of a shame as this has become pretty standard for holiday cottages and the garden was overrun with bindweed...
"It is a little tired but very clean, there are no ammenities within the room but you are on the door step of Hedington shops. Great for a stay that you only sleep in the hotel and go out for everything else. "

"Beautifully quirky former Oxford Prison hotel. We wanted to stay in a cell room which are only offered with a double bed. We would normally have looked for twin beds but on check in, were offered the opportunity for an extra single bed to be put in the room. Staff were very helpful and professional. The prison has been sympathetically transformed and retains all the former features which make it a special place to stay. Parking was offered right outside if needed. Location is perfect for exploring Oxford."
"Room was good and nice and clean. I was a bit worried about traffic noise as this hotel is actually at the services but it was fine. The breakfast was also very good with lots of choice "
