"Good hotel, informative staff, close to bus lines!"
We stayed for 4 nights and even paid for an extended stay with no problem. The hotel is close to buses/trams/metro lines that can take you all over the city. We never needed a taxi. The hotel staff is marvelous - very helpful and knowledgeable. We would recommend the Danubius to our friends.
This a well located hotel with basic amenities but clean and comfortable.
The hotel is well priced; we spent 230 Euro for an 8 night stay.
Staff very helpfull.
The only issue is that there is no elevator and the rooms are located on the 2nd floor.
For people who do not have a problem climbing stair it is an AWESOME HOTEL.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!
Brilliant location - you can get anywhere within ten minutes. The hotel in itself was very good. One little disappointment though, I misjudged the size of the blacony - It was barely enough for one person. Apart from this, everything was perfect. The room service was superb and the food was delicious. Will definitely stay here again.

I'd never experienced staying on a boat hotel before, my sister's Spanish name is Fortuna, and I guess I just tend to be drawn to the water, so it seemed an interesting thing to do in a city I'd never been in before. The staff were helpful, breakfast was decent, and the fridge was stocked with a decent selection of drinks and snacks. It's a cozy/no frills type of place, which is what I look for typically. It's not in central Budapest (minimal after-hours noise a plus), so plan on some extra walking unless you rent a bicycle. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when/if i visit the city again, as i hope to.
"Very central hotel close to Train/Tram & shopping"
Nice hotel with large rooms. Comfortable beds with clean bathrooms. My room overlooked the main street. There was a slight intrusion of noise at night but only noticeable when an emergency vehicle would go past with sirens at full tilt. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and staff very friendly.
Book in advance as you get some good rates. Unfortunately I had to stay at very short notice and the rates had doubled...
I would recommend this hotel for Business or Leisure.
We stayed at the Kadar apartments in November and were very pleased with our stay. We arrived very late but the staff were more than happy to accommodate our irregular travel times. The studio had everything we needed; nice well equiped kitchen, good sized bathroom with shower and a comfy bed (up a few stairs). Wifi worked well for all devices, maps and instructions were also there too. Easy!
The only thing that was slightly annoying was you could here people in the stairwell quite clearly. However, this is a residential block so there wasn't many people walking in the stairwell anyway so if you're an extremely light sleeper then maybe bring some ear plugs, but it didn't bother us and we usually overslept our alarm.
Also, the apartment is within spitting distance to the main train station that connects you to the airport so it's ideal for commuting. The Metro is also just around the corner so you are extremely well connected.
Budapest was excellent and we're definitely going to go back, Kadar Apartments was a great choice.

This B&B reflects the feeling of grandeur that the beautiful architecture of Budapest demonstrates. It is within walking distance of all attractions and is situated near some fabulous restaurants. Breakfast is plentiful, fresh and delicious. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and warm. Our host Attila could not be more interesting to talk to nor more helpful when it came to discussing what there is to see. He booked a shuttle bus to the airport and a meal in a restaurant on our behalf. We also had a fascinating discussion about the history of Budapest. I thoroughly recommend this B&B as a quirky, comfortable alternative to run of the mill hotels.
