The hotel is close to the Metro and tram service. It is also walking distance to the Parliament and Margaret Island. The hotel is well staffed and clean. We paid additional for the Balcony which was worth it and gave us some added space. Breakfast was large and varied each day. There was a major issue with internet connection which other guests also said they had. It made an otherwise good hotel lose better ratings. Frustrating that in 2025 cannot connect adequately to even email from room. TV was not usable either as the internet hook up to Youtube did not work!. TV channels were few and fuzzy. Both attached photos show circles of trying to connect and it not happening. This was for my entire 5 night stay. I told reception who said it would be reported and that there were issues a few weeks ago but were solved after switching providers. It was not solved. The room was a good size as was the bathroom with good toiletries. Breakfast was good and it had a good start time. Staff spoke good english and were nice and helpful. The bed, bedding and pillows did not suit me. I thought they were uncomfortable. I lost an item and looked under beds and behind drawers, areas that were lacking in the cleaning department. Towels provided had marks on them, the bed sheets were not done properly.
