Charming , old fashioned building with grand rooms, high ceilings and heavy wooden doors in a quiet area just down the street from the Central Market and near the river. Staff all spoke English, were very helpful and welcoming, and offered extra services like airport transfers and event bookings. Breakfast buffet was typical and OK standard although not spectacular Some room fittings were in need of attention - a few loose parquet flooring tiles, bathroom door kept sticking, some scary-looking electrical fittings round the place but the rooms were warm and spacious. It would probably benefit from a bit of a makeover however for the price it was fine and really rather quaint; we liked it.
