(199 reviews) We had a great time staying in the Diamond Room. The apartment is in a brilliant location, with easy access to everything we wanted to see. It looked fantastic, the bathroom was really nice, and having the kitchen area was a big bonus. The place was beautifully decorated, clean, and felt very welcoming. We also had a lot of fun with the pinball machine and ended up using it more than expected! You can really tell the hosts care about providing a great space and looking after their guests. (11 reviews) I traveled with my wife and 13-year-old daughter to Budapest in the summer of 2025\. The Harmonia Palace is on the periphery of Budapest’s city center. The reasons I chose the Harmonia Palace are: - Each unit is spacious. There were three of us, and I wanted us to be comfortable and have our own space. There is a small kitchenette and a table with four seats for dining. We stayed in the Jade Heritage suite, which had two enormous windows that let in plenty of natural light. - The building used to be a duke’s mansion. They preserved the classic design but renovated it luxuriously. I really liked the interior design. Location-wise, it’s not in the very center, but it’s conveniently close to the Hungarian National Museum and Central Market Hall. One big advantage of its location is that it’s only a 3-minute walk from the airport shuttle stop. I find rideshares and taxis in some parts of Europe a bit shady, so I always try to use the airport shuttle when available. Harmonia Palace is just one stop away from the airport if you take the 100E bus, which also runs throughout the night. The reasons I did not give Harmonia Palace five stars are: - We arrived in Budapest after 9:30 pm. Their check-in hours are 9 am - 9:30 pm, so we had to pay €40 for late check-in. I’ve never had to pay for late check-in.
