They say there is beer in the room but this is only true and included if the all-inclusive is booked. The eco-friendly part was big for us but this does effect if you have water or not in your room. At times we did not. The restaurant was delicious and a highlight. We got there at a time where there was no sun and I had to take a really cold shower after traveling! I feel like they should specify that in the description!!! I thought it was all inclusive, but apparently it no longer is a hotel that offers all inclusive. The restaurant was super expensive because for two burgers that come with fries and two extra order of fries it was about 100 USD. Also, After 8 PM There’s no staff. I accidentally left my phone in the room, which is the key to the room and I couldn’t get in and unfortunately it was after hours. They did however answer the chat, which was good, but I feel like it would’ve been easier if somebody was on site. Nobody came to get our bags to welcome us on the hotel. We got welcomed with mosquitoes and bees which isn’t okay. After the staff saw us get bit up they offered to help us. Why not help us before the check in process that would make sense to me. Now I have bite marks all over me smh. The hotel and Expedia failed us on our honeymoon with no refund. Please spare yourselves don’t book here or I’m warning you you’re wasting your money. While it was off-season in Tulum and the hotel was quiet, the service we received from the hotel staff was consistently exceptional. They went out of their way to help ensure we had a memorable experience, including by providing a complimentary “beer bath”, following by time in their private garden spa. The hotel also provided an outstanding meal and cocktails to watch their incredible aerial dance evening show and a tour of their on-site eco-brewery. The hotel is boutique in style and new, with a picture perfect pool, nice restaurant/bar and modern rooms. Our room was fairly small but comfortable and impeccably cleaned each day. Overall, a great hotel experience. Minor downside is that the hotel is a few miles outside of central Tulum, so a hire car is beneficial (taxis are expensive). The free minibar beer and water was also very welcome!
